Bio of "the
teen-Age 'Jimmy the greek' CEO of EZ Sports Winners:

 |
Back
in California’s Napa Valley where I grew up I was a six
year old kid with a clip-board, and my passion was
analyzing every single game I watched, picking the teams
and eventually winning contests, competing against
adults. In those days I was known as the “Teen-Age Jimmy
the Greek” and when I wasn’t playing sports I was
analyzing them, picking games for the adults around me. I won some cash, and even won a trip to the Rose bowl
for my family and me when I was 14.
Today,
after long graduating from the Business School at Cal
State Sacramento and enjoying a nice career in the
financial field as a top-notch Financial Advisor
(formerly a Registered Principal and Registered Advisor
with the State of California, along with several
Brokerage Houses),
I'm still fascinated with the thrill of uncovering a
winner, whether it's trading stocks, or finding winners
in sporting contests. There's nothing I enjoy more than
finding that golden nugget! So, my entrepreneurial roots
have brought me to offer up this site for sporting
events. Where many sporting sites offer up their
handicappers as "advisors", you have a real live
Financial Advisor right here at this site!
“Sporting
events have always fascinated me, and my passion is to
try and find the highest degree of success, using
various analytical methods, and uncovering a winner,
whether its stocks, or sports. I will spend hours
scouring over statistics, information to try and find a
gold nugget”.
Tipton
uses a combination of statistical trends, match-up
information, spread value, and situational spots to
uncover the winning side. |

Ed Mack:
Ed Mack is an avid boxing fan with a unique
understanding of the sport. After boxing at Harvard
College for a couple of years Mr. Mack graduated and
became a Commercial Real Estate. . Although stuck behind a
desk Mr. Mack still trained at a local boxing gym and
became a licensed assistant ringside in California, Arizona,
Illinois and Western Australia. Over the last ten years
he has gained a deep understanding of the nuances of the
fight game, and enjoys learning and following the
careers of young upstart boxers looking to get their
shot at a title. Mack’s analysis always stays focused on
recent events in a boxer’s history and analyzing the
unique styles which make all the difference between the
ropes. Hopefully his column will provide the insight and
detail needed to not only further enjoy the contest, but
make enough money back to off set the crazy pay per view
charges.
Mack's analysis will focus on stylistic matches with
an emphasis on who has the skills to surprise their
opponent. Boxing is full of mismatches that are designed
to get people to the top with inflated records, but once
they get there, talent can only take them so far.
Another factor that needs to be broken down is boxing
hype. Hype is a necessary aspect of the sport which
creates the emotions fans need to be interested in the
proposed match-up, but hype tends to cloud our judgment.
Mack's analysis will hopefully allow you to cut
through the hype and determine for yourself who has the
best chance of bringing home the victory. |

Eric Roberts:
Eric
Roberts has been an avid UFC fan for over 10 years. As a
youngster growing up in Napa, California, he actually
attended elementary school and was friends with Hall of
Famer Ken Shamrock (who was known then as Kenny Nance).
Although never really a practitioner of MMA, besides
some wrestling experience, his passion was sparked in
1996, when, while attending graduate school in Ann
Arbor, Michigan, Eric made the drive to Detroit’s Cobo
Arena to see his boyhood friend fight Dan Severn in UFC
9. He has been hooked ever since. Over the last ten
years Eric’s video library has grown to include almost
every UFC card, which has allowed him to thoroughly
analyze and understand the MMA game. Robert's
takes the same approach he did studying for his Masters
at the University of Michigan, thorough and detailed.
Mr.
Roberts’ column will focus on the relative strengths and
weaknesses of each fighter and their history of common
opponents. It will include an analysis of the unique
interplay between the striking, wrestling and ju-jitsu
skills that MMA has to offer. His preview of the fights
will also include a discussion of the ever-important
intangibles: heart and downright toughness, and his
analysis should help members feel comfortable in picking
the winning fighter, including the upsets so visible in
recent UFC fights. |
